What is a Mass Intention?

One way that we, as Catholics, can pray for a personal intention is to offer a Mass to be celebrated. The mass intention can be in honor of a deceased loved one, in celebration of a family milestone or simply in thanksgiving for God’s abundant blessings.

How to Request a Mass to be Offered?

Please contact Elsa Atendido, Office Coordinator at (650) 591-5937 or elsa@saintmarkbelmont.com to inquire about available mass schedules. The parish can only accommodate two (2) intentions per mass. Once you’ve chosen an available date, you will be asked to provide the details of your request.

You may also submit your mass intention request to Elsa, by visiting our parish office.

Request for Prayers for the Sick

Saint Mark accepts requests for Prayers for the Sick, including those who are undergoing medical procedure.

Contact Elsa Atendido at office@saintmarkbelmont.com for your requests to be included in the Prayers for the Sick at our Sunday Masses.

Guidelines:

1. Provide the full name of the person/s for whom Prayers for the Sick is intended.

2. To accommodate all requests, names will be read at the Sunday Masses for one month after which they will be listed under the Mass Intentions Section of Flocknote.

3. If you are making a request on behalf of another person, please secure the approval of the person first.

4. Please also inform Elsa, if you already wish the name to be taken off the list.
