Children of St. Joseph
“Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And are not his brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?” - Matthew 13:55
As we all know any family home needs constant work and maintenance to conform to the needs of the changing family. St. Mark is a spiritual home to us all. Our faith tells us that we are all indeed brothers and sisters with each other and with Christ!
Taking inspiration from St. Joseph, The Worker, we formed a ministry responsible for the care and maintenance of our buildings and parish grounds. We call ourselves, Children of St. Joseph.
If God has provided you with a skill you wish to share, or if you wish to learn a skill, you are invited to join our ministry and help maintain St. Mark church, our spiritual home. Yes, there will be labor involved but also fellowship!
We continue to create a pool of skilled individuals that can be asked to serve for a given need. Jobs include minor plumbing or electrical repair, building a flower or altar stand, repairing a kneeler, helping rebuild the planter in front of the rectory, and more. Each job will be something our Pastor has reviewed and agreed is necessary for the upkeep of St. Mark.
