The Advent Season is upon us. Let us make ourselves ready for the coming of Christ, our Savior. Join Saint Mark’s Advent activities throughout the season.

Here are more ways to prepare for the Advent season!

  1. JOIN the Advent Bible Study & Reflection with the theme "Welcoming Jesus in our Hearts" to be led by Ante Buljan. It will be scheduled for four sessions -- December 4, 11 and 18 from  5:00 - 6:30 pm at the Parish Center, with the date of last session to be determined.  For more information, please contact Ante at antbul@comcast.net.

  2. TAKE the Advent Challenge through Hallow. 

    Thanks to an Archdiocesan partnership with Hallow, all parishioners will be able to subscribe to Hallow Premium for 12 months, for only $1 each! This partnership will kick off on December 1 with an Advent Prayer Challenge!  

    What is Hallow?  
    Hallow is a prayer and meditation app that combines the peace and stillness of meditation with the spiritual growth of contemplative prayer. It features over 10,000 sessions of audio-guided prayers led by world-class talent such as Jonathan Roumie, Fr.     Hallow is rooted in the tradition of the Catholic Church but has been built to welcome users of all backgrounds. Hallow features the Bible on its "navigation tab" towards the bottom of the screen and many of the sessions are rooted in Scripture, such as Jeff Cavin's Daily Reflections or Fr. Mike's Bible in a Year.

    Everyone can signup at Hallow for free but access is limited to certain content, while Hallow Premium gives you access to all content.
